A guest speaker presents a topic on international affairs, followed by a group discussion. Appropriate readings may be distributed in advance to the group. Polite debate of all opinions is encouraged.

The group will start with The Intellectual Adventure of Ancient Man, and go onto the pre-Socratics, early Roman philosophers, Plato, Aristotle, and Maimonides.

This group is for those who've never read Dante along with those who have read/studied all or parts of the poem and are looking for an engaging conversation about how to read the Comedy. Conversations will be based on readings of select pieces of the poem.
